First, what is the wavelength of one cycle of each frequency? Wavelength is speed of light divided by frequency.

Second, what is the difference of length between the two wavelengths? This is the distance the craft has traveled in one cycle.

Third, what is the time of one cycle of the original signal?

In the time the craft transmitted the one cycle of the original signal, it moved a distance. The distance is the difference in wavelength.
So the speed of the craft is the distance it traveled divided by the time of one cycle.

The direction is…if the wavelength becomes longer, the craft is moving away if it id shorter it is moving toward you.

This will be an important concept to understand for relativity and Energy equals Planck's constant times frequency, so energy related to the Doppler shift. . I am a ham radio operator. I talked to the Russian Space Station MIR around 1990 and you could hear the difference in frequency as the craft came up off the horizon and back down again. We have radio software that will track satellites (even point the antenna) and automatically tune the frequency of the radio to follow for this Doppler shift.

When in Rome do as the Romans. You must follow all State traffic laws in the state you are driving. It is also your responsibility to know these laws prior to your trip.

IE: Some States have helmet laws for motorcycles. Watch the bikers pulln over at the state line to put their helmet on.

Speed Limits vary from one state to the other. You can't drive 10 miles over the limit with the excuse that I have Florida plates and in that state the speed limit is—.

It depends on which ship you are assigned to. There are not a lot of US flag ships going foreign. Mostly they stay coastwise in the US. Most ships have a set schedual of ports they hit and it doesn't vary much. You have a say in where you want to work, but if you are not flexible, you won't work too much. You have to go where the jobs are. In the end we are all here for the money, not sightseeing.

@snoopygurl98 Oh my gosh..I hope everything is fine,Im sure he is okay though-you just have to think like that..like he ran off…I hope EVERYTHING is fine..I’ve had so many of friends,family,and kids i went to school with and it is hard I lost a few people due to war and they played this song at every funeral and I lost it everytie i heard it..Like i said I wish you the best of luck!
